Every
Tree Honours A Life
W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home, Moose Jaw and Prairie Memorial Funeral Home, Chaplin/Herbert initiated the Memorial Tree of Life program at the beginning of the new millennium – January, 2000 as a further demonstration of our family’s commitment to the community, appreciation to those families who we have been privileged to serve and as a remembrance to a loved one. This Tree of Life program will make a meaningful contribution to our community and surrounding area. For each family served from the beginning of 2000, trees have been planted in the parkland of Wakamow Valley and now (2008) the Besant Park on the Trans Canada Highway #1 west of Caronport, Saskatchewan. By doing this we are remembering those who have died in the previous year. There will be no fee for the planting. This planting is our gift to you in memory of your loved one. A unique way to honour life the Tree of Life Program is also a way for W.J.Jones & Son to give back to the communities we serve. This program's contribution of trees will ensure the continued growth and enhancement of one of our most precious resources. |
