DONALD “RED”
MALCOLM ELLIOTT of
Moose Jaw
, passed away after a brief
illness at the
Moose Jaw
Union
Hospital
.
Don was born in
Moose Jaw
in 1925 and entered the
RCNVR at the age of seventeen to serve overseas.
Don returned to
Canada
in 1945 and spent a few
years working in
Vancouver
before returning to
Moose Jaw
where he met and married
Mildred Empey in 1962. Don
worked at BA/Gulf Oil for many years.
He then worked at CFB Moose Jaw and retired after seventeen
years of employment. Don
was predeceased by his wife, Mildred in 1968 and is survived by
his daughter, Sheelagh (Ted) Glover and a sister, Ruth Macdiarmid.
A private interment will take place at
Rosedale
Cemetery
at a later date. Donations
can be made to the Arthritis Society,
