Sharon and Lorie Benson and family - Moose Jaw, Sask.: Aunt Ruth will always have a special place in our hearts. She was a very special aunt who was kind, caring, and hospitable.  We'll never forget how her home was always open to all guests and ALWAYS so cozy.  She was great with our children ( I recall when our kids were babies,  having taken them over to her house in Moose Jaw several times ) She always made us feel welcome with a hot cup of coffee and ALWAYS fresh baking.  We will miss her laughter and her sense of humor.  We're thinking of you all in your time of sorrow.  Love Sharon, Lorie, Lindsay and Kenny.

Glenis Benson - Madison, Wisconsin: Aunt Ruth may have moved on to 'higher ground' but she certainly left us with some great memories.  My most salient memories are from my childhood when we would converge on her 'oh, so homey home' in Moose Jaw.  I have so many fond memories of those family visits.
Now if Dad could talk I know he would say that his sister was a wonder; she defied all medical odds, and despite the hardships of the great 'losses' she experienced early in life she weathered those storms remarkably.
Dad is greatly saddened by the death of his 'big sister' and I only wish that circumstances would have allowed him to join with you all.  Please trust, however, that those of us who aren't with you in person will be with you in spirit.             Fondly, Glenis
