Samuel (Bill) Edgar,
passed away November 23,
2002
at the age
of 93 years. Bill was
born on
March 19,
1909
at Owen Sound, Ontario.
Bill
was a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge, a member of the Grand
Lodge of Saskatchewan, an honourary member of the Scottish Rite, a
member of Minto
United
Church
and the
Vintage Aircraft Restorers. He is predeceased by his parents, Lillie and Walter
Edgar; two brothers, Jack and Joseph; sisters, Ruth Rowan and
Agnes (Apperley) McCaw. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; son, D.Walter Edgar; daughter, Donna (Don) Maxwell;
grandchildren, Darrin
(Michelle) Maxwell and Duncan Maxwell; and sisters, Emma Rowan and
Jean Hollman. A
Memorial Service will be held at Minto
United
Church
on Wednesday
November 27, 2002
at 1:30 pm. Reverend John Carley will officiate.
Memorialization will take place at Rosedale
Cemetery. Memorials to the charity of choice would be appreciated.
In living memory of Bill, a tree
will be planted in
Wakamow
Valley
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
