EVA LILLIAN DENNIS of
Extendicare Nursing Home and long time resident of
Buffalo

passed away on
Wednesday, March 13, 2002
at the age of 97 years. Born
in the
Stony
Beach
district, Eva attended the
Coyote
Run
School
.
Eva married Joe Dennis
February 9, 1922
and the couple farmed in the
Stony
Beach
area. Joe passed away
suddenly as the result of a car accident in September 1953. Eva
continued to reside on the farm and a few years later, worked as a
cook for the PFRA at Cypress Hills and R.M. of Pense.
She loved to pick berries and will be remembered for her
raisin pie and her many awards for jellies, jams and hand work.
Predeceased by her parents, husband, Joe and two children,
Margaret and John, several sisters and brothers and a nephew,
Norman Willard. Eva is
survived by cousins, Gweneth Richardson, Clifford Richardson and
many other cousins, close friends, Marj & Chubb Nicolle and
Doug & Jeannette Nicolle as well as many other friends and
neighbours. The
Funeral Service will be held
Saturday, March 16,
2002
at
1:30 p.m.

& Son Funeral Chapel,
