ALBERT "TED" DAVIS

Mr. Albert Edward “Ted” Davis:  Our Daddy went to be with Jesus 7:25pm, October 29, 2002. He was born on July 2, 1908 at Tilney, Sask. and farmed all his life. He married Gertrude Banman in 1930, and they celebrated 72 years of married life.  Predeceased by brother, Fred Davis; and a child in infancy, Ted is survived by his wife, Gertrude; children: Betty (Ed) Armbruster; Dorothy (Harry) Henning; Linda (Doug) Welsh; eight grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Grosenick; one brother, Dennis Davis; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday, November 2, 2002 at 1:30 pm. Son-in-law, Rev. Ed Armbruster will officiate, assisted Rev. Sid Chalmers.  Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery. Memorials to the Gideon Bible Society, would be appreciated. In living memory of Ted, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home. He will be greatly missed by each one of us. He went to be with the Lord to the land that is fairer than day.

Sheila Robatzek - Swift Current, SK : I really enjoyed being a part of his and Gertie life while I worked in the Bentley Retirement Home.  He was a joy and I sure did enjoy visiting with Ted.  We enjoyed many laughs.  I will miss Ted, but I know where he is.  God Bless you Gertie until you two meet.
