Conard and Marsha Hales - Calgary, AB: Ivan was a great uncle to all of Dorothy's children. He was supportive of Dorothy and provided the nucleus for the Bayne family. The family farm, thanks to Ivan, always provided wonderful memories and experiences. We will miss Ivan when we visit the lake and the farm but he will always be in our thoughts.

Elizabeth Bayne - Thompson, Manitoba:  I have very fond memories of Ivan from my young married days when my husband Jack Bayne (deceased) and I farmed on the Norman Bayne land , and when we visited Esther and him over the years. Thinking of you Esther. Condolences from my children Terry, Tracy, Dan, David and Jackie.

Murray and Carroll Hales - Leduc, Alberta: Uncle Ivan has always been a big part of our lives, and we often talk about the visits to the farm, the experiences there, and the times spent with Uncle Ivan and Aunt Esther.  He was such a constant in our lives.  Unfortunately we cannot make it to Moose Jaw on Tuesday for the funeral in person, but will be there in our thoughts.  Our special thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Esther, Gerald, Lynn and their families.

Bing Xia - Beijing, China: I am filled with deep sorrow for Mr. Ivan's passed away.  He is a great father and grandfather.  He is kindhearted and industrious.  He taught me a lot including how to conduct oneself in society during we were together.  I will never forget the days that we worked in the field, took part in church activities.  He showed concern for me and cherished me all the time.  Shu Zhen, Xiao Yu, Xiao Bo and I express our profound grief at Ivan's death.

Marnie Barwell - Calgary, Alberta: My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  There are so many happy memories of visiting Uncle Ivan and Aunt Esther at the farm. I will miss him so much.

Greg Button - Moose Jaw, Sask:                 In Memory

Ivan was the caring kind.
He always kept his friends in mind.
He'd always stop to lend a hand.
To us he was a special man.
How many he touched, well who can tell?
And on this day of his farewell,
All those he loved, whose hearts he blessed,
Are with him now in time of rest.

Corliss and Robert Okerstrom - Moose Jaw, Sask. Thinking of you at this time of sorrow, Esther, Gerald & Family. Will always remember Ivan and memories of your farm.
