Moose Jaw
passed away
April 19, 2002
at age 89. Mike was
predeceased by his beloved wife Ann in 1994.
He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Gail, son-in-law
Vern Noble of Moose Jaw, grandson Greg (Shelley),
great-granddaughter Nataysia and granddaughter Lisa (Jason)
Hennessey all of Vancouver as well as several other relatives.
Born in the Canora district, Mike moved to
Moose Jaw
as a young man. He
obtained his Journeyman Mechanics and Welding at A.E. Peacock and
was instrumental in creating the “Man of Industry” and
“Churchill” statues of which he was always very proud.
Mike owned and operated “Mike’s Auto Service &
Truck Transport and White Rose Service Station”.
Mike didn’t retire until age 82.
He was well known for his integrity in business and was a
friend to all who knew him. Mike
was a Mason and he and Ann belonged to round and square dance
clubs for many years. Friends
are invited to share in a celebration of Mike’s life on Friday,
May 3, at
4:00 p.m.
