CLAIRE ANDERSON

CLAIRE LEE ANDERSON passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 29, 2002 , at his farm near Keeler, Sask. Born October 21, 1933 , in the Keeler district, Claire spent most of his life farming in the area, taking pride in his crops and his cattle.  He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends.  He had a passion for baseball and hockey, in his early years as a player, and most recently as a spectator and fan for his grandchildren.  Claire is predeceased by his parents, Guy and Olive; step-mother, Eva; and granddaughter, Avery. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife, Donna; children and grandchildren:  Jackie (Tom) Jukes, Guy, Patrick and Sam; Patricia (Terry) Baiton, Morgan and Beau; Tim (Shelley), and Zakary; Lonnie (Kathy), Derek, Garet, Lee and Stephanie; Laurie; Desiree; and Sandy, Chelsey, Chay, Amee, and Bailey; brothers: Lynn (Mary); and Bill; sister, Gayle; and many nieces and nephews.  Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at the Alliance Church, Saturday,  February 2, 2002 at 1:30 pm.  Reverend John Carley will officiate.   Memorialization will take place at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Children’s Wish Foundation,  PO Box, 309, Saskatoon , S7K 3L3,  would be appreciated by the family.   In living memory of Claire, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
