KEE KWAN 

Kee Sheong Kwan passed away at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital on Monday January 14, 2008 at the age of 80 years.  Kee was born in China on January 28, 1927, and came to Canada in 1973.  He owned and operated Kwan’s Café on Manitoba Street until retiring in 1987.  Kee was a very loving husband and father and was also a brilliant cook and a good business man, with much compassion and humour.  He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mei Yung Kwan; son, Doug; five daughters: Mei, Alice, Gretti, Linda, and Sandy; sons-in-law Frank Lafond and Yun Lai; brother and sisters; seven grandchildren, one granddaughter-in-law and one grandson-in-law; many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers-in-law, and many cousins.  The Funeral Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday January 19, 2008 at 1:30 pm. Gale Chow will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. In living memory of Kee, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
