ED EDWARDS

Mr. Edward Edwards, age 84 of Moose Jaw, and formerly of Aneroid, passed away May 2, 2008.  Ed was predeceased by his parents William and Marie Edwards, brother Bob, sister Maxine, and daughter Diane.  He is survived by his children, Doug (Heather), Greg (Janice), and Tracey; four grandchildren, Amylia, Alexis, Ashley, and Kyle;  brother Jim (Isabel), numerous nieces and nephews; and long time companion Dorothy McKechnie and all of her family.  A Service of Remembrance will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at 1:30 pm.  Pastor Phil Canning will officiate. Royal Canadian Legion Funeral Rites will be conducted by Roscoe Steele, Moose Jaw Branch #59. Memorialization will take place at a later date.  For those so wishing, memorials to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, or to the Sask. Heart & Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated.  In living memory of Ed, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
