Angie Andrei - Moose Jaw. SK: "Gramma - what can I say.  You are and always will be very much loved by Darrell, Dakota and myself.  I am very happy for you to have finally reached the place of where you've longed to be for a number of years now (through conversation with you).  You are at peace and once again reunited with your long lost love.  You are a "special lady" and will be greatly missed. You have led a full life and may your strength, stubbornness, and will to "live and love" live on in the rest of your family.  You are an inspiration to some of us in how you lived your life - rarely got mad - never argued (until your latter years!! - and only with your daughters!! - ha, ha), took life as it was handed to you and made the best of it.....you were an absolute pleasure to be around.  I love you - we love you and boy - I sure can hear all your bells  from your collection ringing now!!  A treasure collection worth more than anything money can buy - that's what YOU are:  priceless!!!  Loved you when we met 23 years ago and love you even more today!!  Until we meet again -  please keep your batteries charged for my son, Dakota, so he can see your flashlight and know you're there, thanks
Granny!

Dakota Andrei - Moose Jaw, SK: I loved going to visit with Gramma Chase.  I would say to Mom and Dad - after school or whenever - "I want to go visit Granny Chase".  We sometimes played cards - not too long and sometimes did nothing at all - but I loved to see her.  Now - when you look up into the sky and you see the stars - you will see her flashlight on - to guide your way for you just the same as Papa does.  Sometimes Papa forgets to turn out the lights when he goes to bed and those are the stars in the sky - now Granny Chase does the same thing!!  Every time you see a star think of her playing cards; nickel bingo; making her cones and thin pancakes. I would ride on her walker sometime.... she gave me her stuffed grey teddy bear - I have it on my shelf in my room.... "I remember Granny Chase used to live in Opa and Oma's building on floor #13 - way up high... "is that my boy?"  she would growl at me and I would say "yup - it's Dakota!" She was so tired all the time .....now you can rest easy Granny!!!! "Love you Granny and hugs and kisses too!!! "Bye Granny Chase - Love you!" And we would leave until the next time......

Darrell Andrei - Moose Jaw, SK: My grandma Chase I will miss you very much, but I have many memories of you. I have never forgotten all of the Friday evening's I would come and stay at your place instead of spending time with my friend's just so we could walk to the supermarket so you could buy groceries. Your thin pancakes the many card games that we played and just for being the most special Grandmother anyone could ever have. You will be forever in my heart as well Angie and Dakota who would always say" hey maybe we should go see granny chase today". When Angie and myself would come over and set your card tables down stairs and you always had supper ready for us and then of course a game of cards or crib or just sit and talk. I can't remember how many times we would say to you Gramma have you got your hearing aid in or have you got it turned on. My favorite time was Christmas when we would all get our coffee can full of cones. I try to make your thin pancakes just like you but I know that will never happen I will miss  YOU very much                                              LOVE DARRELL, ANGIE&DAKOTA.

Dot and Louis Lennox - Moose Jaw, SK: Our Deepest Sympathies to all the Families of the loss of our long time family friend, Inga. We will always remember our good times together and we were always made welcome at her table and appreciated her home made Tomato soup. She will be greatly missed and we will always have our fond memories of her. Love from Dear friends Dot and Louis Lennox & families.

Bill and Marlene Chase - Moose Jaw, SK.: Bill and I send Sincere Sympathy to Inga's large family.  Inga was loved by so many. Bill has many fond memories as a child, of Aunt Inga, her special baked goodies, he always teased her about her "empty tarts"--he loved them!!  She had such a talent, as so many know. Now you are at peace, Dear Lady, to join your sisters and brother. Thinking of you with Love, from Bill and Marlene

Sue Truscott (Lennox) - Chilliwack, BC: Our condolences to the family and I noticed everybody mentioning Inga's cooking.  Brought back memories of how we'd always make sure we got to her place on Halloween because there'd always be something home baked in there!

Tracey Lennox - Moose Jaw, SK: Bless You Inga, you have finally arrived!  I too will never forget you.  Your sense of humor and your all-round good heart.  Popcorn balls at Halloween.....and numerous other treats when we were kids.  I have to tell you... myself and a Lennox Aunt were in Safeway one day when we ran into Inga's daughter Joan on one end of the store.  Had a chit chat with her and carried on.  A bit later we ran into Inga on the other side of the store and my Aunt quickly said in a surprised tone "Hey, we just seen Joan on the other side of the store!!"  to which Inga replied "Well, how in the hell do you think I got here??!!" ha ha ha!!  I laughed so hard.  Good answer Inga.  I've never forgotten that.  After all, she was quite aware into her 80's by then.  She was so funny. Well, "Farewell" to a wonderful example of family tradition and all round hospitality.  She was a great lady for sure and should be honored and respected forever.  I too will miss you, but it's okay....you're home.  Love Tracey.

Ken Knutson - Moose Jaw, SK: My sympathy is extended to the family.  Inga was a real survivor and I remember her as a good neighbor in Ormiston.

Brenda Peterson - Moose Jaw, SK: My thoughts are with all of yous.  May you celebrate a long life. That created many wonderful memories and traditions for your whole family.

Colleen Gilbert (Duzan) - Kindersley, Sask.: Growing up in Ormiston, I too have many fond memories of both Inga and Harland. Of course the delicious baking and popcorn balls at Halloween, but more importantly their non-judgmental, warm, kind and generous hearts towards me every time I met them! Harland frequently walked by my grandparents with his dog and never failed to wave hello. I praise God for their presence and also say "Welcome Home, see you there!"

Phoebe Hutchinson - Coaldale, Alta.: GOD BLESS you Inga for the Wonderful and Kind Person you were here on Earth and I'm sure you will be a Special Angel in Heaven. My Deepest Sympathy goes out to your Family at this sad time but I'm sure they will feel reassured too that you're at PEACE. Sincerely, Phoebe Hutchinson and Family
