ETHEL FLINT

Ethel Flint of Moose Jaw, passed away at age 99 years 9 months October 14, 2007. Born in Bradford, Yorkshire, England January 18, 1908 she was brought to Canada by her father William Hutton with her late sister, Emily Ferguson. Ethel was a caring, devoted mother and a loving wife to her husband, Wilfred Flint (deceased 1979). She gave joy to her friends and family; taking an active interest in her grandsons and granddaughter, her great-grandson, Shane Gallinger and great-granddaughter Sylviane Allard as well as the children of her friends. Ethel was a generous woman, using her talents to make doll clothes, and knitting clothes which she gave to charitable organizations.  She received a letter of appreciation from Tele-Miracle for the many donations she had given over the years. She will be lovingly and happily remembered by her sons George and Robert (Karen), her granddaughter Joanna Allard (Dany) and great-granddaughter Sylviane Allard; her daughter Margery Gallinger, grandsons Jim (Barbara), great-grandson Shane Gallinger, and grandsons William and Scott Gallinger.  In keeping with Ethel’s wishes, there will be no funeral service.

She lived such a long, and often times hard, life.  However, I know that she had lots of good times, and that you had given her many fond memories.
