Doreen Graham - Moose Jaw, SK: I am so saddened.  Sam was a great man, he was very friendly and easy to get along with.  I will miss Sam very much.

Larry Shaak - Moose Jaw, SK: Having worked along side Sam as a traffic officer I shall retain fond memories of his positive attitude, cheerfulness and great sense of humour. Sam's keen interest in others, the community and social democracy made for vibrant discussions during coffee breaks. Coffee breaks at the Moose Jaw Co-op cafeteria will not be the same without Sam's friendly participation in good "old fashioned neighborly visits." I have no doubt that on Sam's entrance through the heavenly portals his first task will be to sell St. Peter an N.D.P. membership. You will be dearly missed, by your many "brothers in law." Sincerest sympathy to all of Sam's family and friends.

Brad and Tammy Wiseman - Swift Current, SK: Sorry to hear about Uncle Sam.  He will be deeply missed, we will remember all the fun times that we had with Uncle Sam and Auntie Maxine.  Our deepest sympathy and you are all in our thoughts and prayers.  Sorry we could not be there today.

Benny Paulette Cameron Garrecht - Leader, SK: Sure sorry to hear about the passing of Uncle Sam.  He was a great man.  We know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.  Sorry we were unable to be there with you today, but we were sure thinking about you.  May he rest in peace.  Take care

Don & Deb, Jared, Tyson & Keaton Goossen - Okotoks, AB: Our sincere condolences to all.  Uncle Sam's smile and jovial personality will be sadly missed by all of us, we always enjoyed his interesting stories and his view on current events. Rest in peace Uncle Sam.

Dolores Coburn - Climax,  SK: Sincere condolences to family and friends. As a fellow board member of the Orange Benevolent Society, his dedication and service over the years was appreciated.
