Lucille Carey – It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucille on Sunday October 7, 2007 at the age of 72, after a brief battle with cancer.  Lucille was born on April 4, 1935 in Chaplin, SK.  She was predeceased by her parents Frank and Melvina Dyck, husband Frank Carey, daughter Ann Demyen, brother Peter Dyck, sister Faye Ireland, brothers-in-law Laird Ireland and Henry Martin, and sister-in-law Myrtle Dyck.  She is survived by sons, Alan, and John (Kathy); seven grandchildren, Lorie, Jason, Michael (Lisa), Michelle (Mike), Amanda, Shannon and Cody;  two great-grandchildren, Mikayla and Riley; brothers, Dale (Glenda), Gordon and Phillip; sisters, Elaine Martin, Donna (Jim) Marchessault, and Ellie (Ron) Richards; as well as several nieces and nephews.  A Service of Remembrance will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday October 20, 2007 at 1:30 pm.  Reverend David Moore will officiate. Memorialization will follow at Sunset Cemetery.  Flowers are gratefully declined.  Those so wishing may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 66B Ross St.W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2.  In living memory of Lucille, a tree will be planted in Besant Park by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
