RENE BULL

(Video Tribute)

It is with great sadness that the family of Rene Bull announces her passing on Monday, February 12, 2007 at the age of 89 years. Rene was born and raised in the Margo area. She married Wilbert (Wib) Bull on October 24, 1938 and they lived in Invermay and Quill Lake prior to moving to Moose Jaw in 1957. Rene was a gifted musician, although she did not have any formal instruction. At an early age she played in an all violin orchestra. Rene was a choir leader for forty years in Invermay, Quill Lake, and Moose Jaw. She was a member of Trinity United Church since 1957, and was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star since June 1963. Rene’s memory will be greatly cherished by her loving husband of 68 years, Wib; her daughters, Elaine (Ken) Maxwell, and Sheila (Jim) Herrem;  grandchildren, Mitch, Richelle, and Karen Necker; Jennifer (Brad Sparks) and David (Chrissy) Passmore;  great-grandchildren, Kyle Necker and Mia Passmore;  brother, Gordon (Pat) McNulty; and sisters, Norma Donovan and Mavis (Doug) Brown.  Rene was predeceased by her parents James and Gina McNulty; her brothers Percy and Lorne; and sister Gladys Gundacker. A Celebration of Rene’s life will be held at Minto United Church on Thursday February 15, 2007 at 1:30 pm.  Reverend John Carley will officiate. Cremation will follow with memorialization at Rosedale Cemetery at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to your favorite charity would be appreciated.  In living memory of Rene, a tree has been planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Gary McNulty - Toronto, ON: Although I didn't get to see my Aunt Rene much in recent years, I have very fond memories of her while growing up and visiting Sask. with my Parents. Aunt Rene was an exceptional and dedicated family person and humanitarian.

Carol  and George Tenney - Edmonton, AB; Although I didn't know my cousin Irene as well as I would have liked, I remember how much my Mom and Dad looked forward to and enjoyed Irene & Wib's visits over the years. They always made a point of keeping in touch with family, and that was so appreciated by everyone.  She was a warm, loving and kind lady, and we will miss her very much.  Our deepest condolences to Wib, Elaine, Sheila and families.

Norman Graham and Laureen Dube - Calgary, Ab.: So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a good friend of my Mom and Dad and I remember playing in your play house when I was a little girl. Dad was so happy to have had a nice visit with her at Auntie Pat and Uncle Doug's 50th Wedding Anniversary. May the Lord comfort you all in your sorrow.
