Lloyd
Brown passed away on Sunday, June 24, 2007 at the
Moose Jaw
Union
Hospital
. He was 83 years old. Lloyd was born on May 28, 1924 and lived
his entire life in the Crane Valley Community. Lloyd's
life revolved around farming and the farm community. He first
farmed with his father, then his sister Marjorie and brother in
law Percy and finally with his nephew Ron and his great nephew
Tim. In 1980 he was pleased to receive the Family Farm Heritage
Award to recognize that the family farm had been continuously
operated by family members since 1908. Lloyd was always willing to
help a family member, a neighbor and support his community
associations. He was predeceased by his father Ernest (1964),
mother Annie (1988), a brother Charles (1953) and his wife
Margaret (1997), a sister Marjorie (1996) and his brother in law
Percy Luke (1980), and his nephew Larry Brown (2000). Lloyd is
survived by his nieces Betty (George) Malesh of Assiniboia, Carole
Feist of
Fort
St. John
, Diane Luke of
Calgary
and nephew Ron (Elayne) Luke of Crane Valley and their families.
He will also be missed by his special friend, Jean Russell of
Moose Jaw
. He is fondly remembered by his cousins in
Vancouver
. A Memorial Service will
be held at W. J.
Jones and Son Funeral Chapel,
Moose Jaw
on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 1:30 PM. Rev. Frank Mitchell
will officiate and Memorialization will take place at
Sunset
