JACQUELINE ADAMS

Jacqueline Ruth Alexandria Adams (Good) passed away January 19, 2007 after a brief illness. Jackie was born on March 1, 1938 in Moose Jaw and grew up on the family farm in the Mayberry District. In 1956 she married Jack Adams and a few years later they moved to Regina. Jackie loved all the wonderful aspects of nature and she and her husband spent all their free time camping, mostly at Buffalo Pound Lake. After the death of Jack in 1999, Jackie moved to Buffalo Pound Lake where she enjoyed her lovely view of the lake and all the animals that came to visit her. Although she was unable to speak in the last few years of her life, she greeted everyone with a warm, welcoming smile and a special “Jackie” wave. Jackie is predeceased by her parents, Earl and Ida Good; her infant brother, Herbert Good; and her nephew, Robert Ames; and husband, Jack Adams. She is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth (Charles) Ames, Audrey (Robert) Mantach; her very special nieces and nephews; her closet furry friend Taylor and all of her wonderful friends. A Service of Remembrance will be held at W.J. Jones and Son Chapel, Wednesday, January 24 at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Bill Thomson officiating. Memorialization will take place at a later date. Flowers are gratefully declined, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society or The Moose Jaw Humane Society would be appreciated.  In living memory of Jackie, a tree has been planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Rob  Stacey and Kasidey McQueen - Buffalo Pound: We were sad to hear this week of Jackie's passing. We had come to meet Jackie about 4 years ago when my husband started hauling water to her. Our daughter who hauls water with Rob loved her visits with Jackie and her cats. It didn't take long to learn what a loving caring woman Jackie was. Just this past Christmas she sent Kasidey a Christmas card in the mail and signed it Love Jackie Taylor and all the outside cats, Kasidey was thrilled !! Our condolences go out to all of the family and friends of Jackie. May many wonderful memories help you get through this time of sorrow.
