MURIEL DAHL

Muriel Theresa Dahl of Moose Jaw passed away on August 24, 2006 at the age of eighty-nine years. Muriel was born on September 28, 1916 in Stokesley, England. She came to Canada at an early age with her parents. They lived in various locations in Saskatchewan where her parents operated boarding houses. Muriel married Kenneth Dahl in 1945 the couple resided in Regina before settling in Moose Jaw in 1960. She worked at Kresges, Neuman’s Bakery and the Post Office. In later years they traveled extensively throughout Canada and the United States. Predeceased by her husband: Kenneth Harland Dahl; her parents: Frederick and Clara. Muriel is survived by a daughter: Maureen (Jim) Turner – Lethbridge; Grandsons: Lee (Jennifer) Turner – Kelowna; Jason (Jillian) Turner – Lethbridge; Darren (Amanda) Turner – Medicine Hat; Adrian (Sarah) Turner – Lethbridge and a sister: Gladys Roberts – Wynyard, seven great-grandchildren  and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral service will be held at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel on Tuesday August 29, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Internment will take place at Regina Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St.W., Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan S6H 2M2. In living memory of Muriel, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
