FRANK
ELMER COLE
of the Parkbeg district and more recently of Extendicare, Moose Jaw
left the world on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at the age of 82. Born to William and Annie Cole at the family farm in
Parkbeg, Frank was predeceased by his sisters: Ethel, Hilda, Doris
and Gertie and his brothers: Bill and Alvie.
Frank will be sadly missed by his sisters: Mabel Guy and
her family, and Laura Rewerts and her family, as well as several
nieces and nephews, and Frank’s room mate and friend, Willy
Wilson Waye. Uncle
Frank had many friends at Extendicare including Nixon, his little
dog. Frank’s entire
life had been spent farming in the Parkbeg district with a great
appreciation for the quiet life. He
enjoyed old time music at the dances in town hall, Fowl suppers or
any gatherings with family and friends. But, especially looked
forward to Christmas and going out of his way making sure each and
every one of the children had a special gift.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 1:30
p.m. in the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw. Della Ferguson
will officiate. Interment
will follow at Mortlach
Cemetery. Memorials to the
Extendicare Children’s Christmas Party Fund, c/o Donna Bruce, 1151 Coteau St. W.,
Moose Jaw,

would be gratefully accepted. In living memory of Frank, a tree will be planted in Wakamow
Valley
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
