ALBERT COLE

ALBERT COLE, formerly of the Parkbeg district passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at the age of 85 years. Born September 6, 1921, on the family farm, Albert farmed and lived his entire life in the hills of Parkbeg before moving to Moose Jaw in January where he made his home at Chateau St. Michael until moving to Extendicare where he resided until his passing. Predeceased by his parents, Annie and William Cole, brother, Bill Cole, sisters: Gertie, Doris, Hilda and Ethel. Albert will be sadly missed by his brother, Frank, two sisters: Mabel and Laura as well as several nieces, nephews and friends from the hills of Parkbeg. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. in the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw.  Della Ferguson will officiate.  Interment will take place in the Mortlach Cemetery. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Chateau St. Michael and Extendicare for the excellent care Albert received.  For those so wishing, memorial donations may be directed to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658, Moose Jaw, S6H 7K7. In living memory of Albert, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
