PEARL
N. COCHRAN of Moose Jaw, passed away May 13, 2006 at the age of 91 years. Born in
Minneapolis
to James and Nellie Anderson who at that time resided on a
homestead near Richmond,
Saskatchewan. In 1927 the family moved to
Lucky Lake,
Saskatchewan
where
Pearl
attended school at New Bank Elementary and Lucky
Lake
High School.
In 1936 she attended Normal School in Saskatoon
and following that taught at New Bank for five years. In 1942
Pearl
came to
Moose Jaw
where she taught at Westmount
for thirty-seven years. In 1960 she married Harry Cochran who predeceased her in
1981. She was also predeceased by her mother in 1952, step-mother
in 1967, her father in 1980, and a brother, Marvin in 1996.
Pearl
is survived by a step-daughter, Linda and family in Vancouver, one
sister, Muriel Rogness and family in the
Lucky
Lake
area as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives in the United States. A Graveside service
will be held on Friday, May 19, 2006 at 2
p.m. in the
Rosedale
Cemetery. Della Ferguson will officiate. Those wishing to attend may
join the cortege at the Jones Funeral Home at 1:40 p.m. In living
memory of

, a tree will be planted in Wakamow
Valley
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
