JACK CLEMENS

(Video Tribute)

John Alexander Clemens passed away peacefully on September 14, 2006 at his home in Moose Jaw. Jack was born in Moose Jaw May 9, 1924. He will be missed by his loving wife of 57 years, Olga “Ollie” Clemens; as well as his children: Barry (Brenda) – Lumsden, Glenn (Wendy) – Calgary, Jacquie (Wayne) White – Oak Bluff, MB; grandchildren:  Jody (Bryan) Eyolfson, Taylor Douglas (Tegan Marshall), Shelby Clemens, Dwayne White, Courtney White; and one great-grandson, Kade Eyolfson; as well as two brothers, Roy  Clemens – Kelowna, BC and Earl Clemens – Maple Ridge, BC; two sisters, Phyllis Clemens, and Pat Green – Moose Jaw; and extended family. Jack was proud to serve his country in the RCAF during World War II and a life-long member of the Masonic Lodge. He farmed in the Caron area until 1963. Jack and Ollie moved to Yorkton, and then returned to Moose Jaw where he was employed by Agriculture Canada. Grandpa Jack loved to spend time with his grandchildren and share his love of horses, cars, and airplanes. A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel, 106 Athabasca St.E., on Tuesday September 19, 2006 at 1:30 pm.  Reverend John Carley will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Parkinson Society 108B – 3502 Taylor St.E., Saskatoon, S7H 5H9, would be appreciated. In living memory of Jack, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
