THOMAS CAMPBELL

(Video tribute)

Thomas Alexander Campbell passed away peacefully on Friday February 24, 2006, surrounded by his family. Tom was born in Moose Jaw on January 7, 1925.  He retired from the CPR in 1985 as a conductor on the Canadian after 44 years of service.  He is predeceased by his parents Earl and Mary (Carr) Campbell; sisters, Sarah Cooper and Alice Dolvin; and brother, Rev. James Campbell.  Tom is survived by his wife of 54 years, Isabella R. Campbell (Keller);  daughters, Judy Campbell and Kathy (Dave) Campbell Tillie;  son, Tom (Wendy) Campbell; grandchildren: Kent Dutchak, Keith (Tammie) Dutchak, Krystal (Darren) Stewart, Rob Tillie, Joe Tillie (Gayle Roncin), Ryan Campbell (Robin Haubrick), Amanda Campbell (Mike Whitfield), and Matt Campbell; sister, Jenny Thomas; brothers, Earl (Elizabeth) Campbell, Bill (Mildred) Campbell; special friends, Jud, Gin, and Vicky; and numerous nieces and nephews.  The Service of Remembrance will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday March 4, 2006 at 1:30 pm.  Della Ferguson will officiate.  Memorialization will take place at a later date.  Memorials to the Extendicare Resident Council, 1151 Coteau ST.W., Moose Jaw, S6H 5G5, would be appreciated. In living memory of Tom, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Don Dutchak - Moose Jaw, Sk.: Words cannot describe the privilege that I have felt to have had Tom as a part of my life, and even more so, my children, of whom he meant the world to. I want to offer my heartfelt condolences to Issy, Judy, Kathy and Dave, Tom and Wendy, and all of the Campbell grandchildren, of whom he left such warm and profound memories behind for them to cherish.

Jack Gudmundson - Calgary: I as a Train Dispatcher and operator spent many enjoyable  years working with Tom. He never complained about the work and was already ready to go at any  time of the day or night. I know that he will be truly missed by all of his family. I offer my condolences to his family and many friends.

Barb Molsberry Dowse - Moose Jaw, Sk.: I would like to send my sincere condolences to The whole Campbell Family. May the thoughts and prayers of others ease some of the pain at this very difficult time. Tom will be missed greatly.
