HARLENE GOODNOUGH |
|
Mary
Harlene Goodnough (nee Henry).
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, our beloved
mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Harlene went to be with
her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on To
every life upon this earth Is
a designated day When
the Lord looks down and says “You’ve
walked the last mile of the way.” We
have not known the road ahead Only
the paths we’ve trod But
there is one who counts each step For
there’s nothing unknown to God Through
sunny days and stormy ways He’s
watched you all the while He
was with your trials and then He
walked with you the final mile To
Him, who holds the universe Yet
sees each sparrow fall How
can we help but trust and see God’s
hand upon it all. In
keeping with Mom’s wishes there will be no funeral service,
however there will be a celebration of her life for family and
friends at the Church of God on Saturday January 15, 2005
at 2:00 pm. In lieu of
flowers, memorials to Joe’s Place, 402 Main St.N., Moose Jaw,
S6H 3K2, would be appreciated.

Guest Book Ginny Jackson - Moose Jaw, SK: It is bittersweet to learn of Harlene's passing as I enjoyed our conversations these past months at Providence Place where I volunteer, yet I know she was having such a difficult time with the progression of the cancer. My prayers are with all who have memories of Harelene and I will treasure the wonderful smile Harelene gave me whenever I entered her room. What a gift to give someone--even when you yourself are in such pain. God Bless, Ginny Jackson Bill Brears - Cold lake AB: Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Lynly and Gord Traill - Moose Jaw, SK: To Jana and Family, Our prayers are with. Jeannie Longworth -
Moose Jaw, SK: Jana and Family...I know how hard this is for all
of you. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. I am
going to miss your mom's smile, & great sense of humor. I will
always remember (mom) travelling the countryside and making numerous
phone calls looking for Jana and I after leaving a sentence of being
grounded for a weekend. We always Geri Musson Mintenko - Prince George, BC: To Jana and Family--so sorry to hear about your Mom. I have so many fond memories of your mom ( during our Lindale school years )and she treated me like I was one of her own children! She even let me get away with alot more than I did at home! Let it be of some comfort that your mom is no longer suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. |
