WALTER GOETTLER

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather Walter George Goettler on Sunday, September 25, 2005, at the age of 84 years.  Predeceased by his parents and four brothers, Walter is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Martha; sons: Terry Goettler – Regina and Randy (Barb) Goettler – Beiseker, AB; daughters: Julie (Al) Guy – Regina and Darla (Guy) Trudeau – Regina; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Hazel, Margaret and Lyla and one brother, Ron – Mortlach. A Celebration of Walter’s Life will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 1:30 p.m. at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorialization will follow at Sunset Cemetery.  Memorials to the Saskatchewan Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2360 2nd Ave., Regina, Sask., S4R 1A6 or to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 104, 2301 Ave. C. North, Saskatoon, Sask., S7L 5Z5 would be appreciated. In living memory of Walter, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
