Kathie Kolybaba: I was disheartened and saddened to hear that Ken had passed away.  I have
fond memories of Ken and have always been appreciative of his kindness and concern for my children, Alex, Mikhail, and Zofia.  When I told them the news they too were sorry--they cared for Ken and have many warm memories of him.  He was a very decent fellow.  We all saw him last summer in Moose Jaw, and we are grateful for this.  Ken was also good to Mom and concerned for her until her death in 2003; in the last years Ken and I have shared a few conversations, and I was always aware that he missed Mom too.  This was a warm thought for me. My family and I wish all of you -- Ken's family --warmth and peace as you come to your own individual understandings of his life and his death.  May you know that we saw him as a kind, decent, affectionate man with a warm
heart.  We will miss him.      Kathie
