ART CARROLL

Arthur John Carroll, passed away November 7, 2005 at the age of 81. Art was a WWII Veteran, going to war at the age of 16.  He was a business man and sold real estate in Ont., BC, and Sask. for a number of years. He enjoyed playing cribbage, goodminton, but most of all, spending time with his family. Art cherished his role as a father and grandfather.  He spent many hours out at the lake, walking for miles through the hills with his dogs.  Art is predeceased by his parents, and his loving wife Rita in 1986, as well as 9 brothers and sisters.  He is survived by his children:  Maureen (Bill) Caslor – Toronto; John (Marla) Carroll – Calgary; Anne (Chuck) Bosgoed – Regina; Lorraine (Perry) Bahr – Regina;  Mary Jane (Ray) Francis – Moose Jaw; Richard (Shannon) Carroll – Calgary;  Denise (Jeff) Emslie – Regina;  Joe (LeeAnne) Carroll – Moose Jaw; twenty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. We will miss you Dad, especially your infamous grin. In keeping with Art’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. Cremation will take place with a private family memorialization on Remembrance Day. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, #301 – 2550 12th Ave., Regina, S4P 3X1, the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St.W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2, or to a charity of choice. In living memory of Art, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
