Susan Dokken  - Moose Jaw: I am so sorry to hear of Ivy's passing.  She was my sponsor when I was confirmed at St. John's Church and was an all around great lady.  When my band played at Extendicare, hers was the brightest smile in the audience.  She will be greatly missed!

Nancy Beamish and Barry Gray - Moose Jaw: Barry, as a teen, worked a couple of summers for Ivy's husband Ted at Sterling Motors. Furthermore, during those years, Ted and Barry played in the woodwind section of the Dragoons Band.  Throughout that time, Ivy & Ted would host members of the section at their home for a social time.  Barry and his Dad, who played sax in the band, would be there with his wife Linda.  So it was then, in subsequent years when Ivy was alone, that Nancy & Barry would often share a moment with Ivy at the Spa restaurant.  She represented one of those special people in our lives who we were priviledged to know and who we admired.  Nancy's first reaction to reading Ivy's obituary was, "She was a sweet lady."
