KEN CAMPHAUG

MR. KEN CAMPHAUG of Caron, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2005 at the age of 48 years. Born in Moose Jaw August 21, 1956, Ken was raised on the family farm in the Caron district. He attended school in Mortlach and later received his heavy duty mechanics certificate from SIAST in Saskatoon. Ken started working for Trans Canada Pipelines in 1976 and continued to operate the family farm. Throughout the following years he worked side by side with his wife: Shawna, Micheal and Shannon. Predeceased by his father, Oscar, Ken is survived by his wife, Shawna, son, Micheal (Lesley), daughter, Shannon and fiancé, Lee Sluser, his mother, Carrie, sister, Lilian Camphaug, brother, Ron (Lorelei) as well as nieces and nephews. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Moose Jaw on Friday, February 25, 2005 at 1:30 pm  Father Gerry Bauche will officiate. Cremation will follow. Memorials may be made to the Rowletta Community Hall, c/o Box, 114 Caronport, Saskatchewan, S0H 0S0. In living memory of Ken, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
