RUTH CAMPBELL

RUTH CAMPBELL passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 22, 2005. Ruth was born on January 2, 1925 to Harry and Lily Bracegirdle in Govan, Saskatchewan.  From the beginning Ruth was entrepreneurial. She co-owned Country Boy Delivery and Furniture in Moose Jaw and later became passionate about raising miniature dogs.  Ruth will be especially missed by special friend, Bob Bullied and two sisters: Edna Zander and family of Wynyard and Irene Dimond and family of Regina.  She leaves an empty space in the hearts of her immediate family: daughter, Anna Mather (Ken) of Lethbridge, Alberta and son, Terry Campbell (Colleen) of Moose Jaw; four grandchildren: Ryan Miller (Tanya) of Lethbridge, Shaun Miller (Sue) of Red Deer, Tammi Campbell (Patrick Young) of Saskatoon, and Carla Campbell of Calgary; and twin great-granddaughters: Mikayla and Emily Miller of Lethbridge.  She is also survived by the Campbell family of Govan, Saskatchewan. The Funeral Service will be held at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at 1:30 p.m.  Interment will be made at the Rosedale Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to Saskatchewan Heart & Stroke Foundation, 2360 – 2nd Avenue, Regina, Sask., S4R 1A6. In living memory of Ruth, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W. J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Sandra Tonnellier - Courtenay, BC:  I was shocked and saddened by the death of Ruth Campbell, my dear friend Anna's mother.  I often got invites to Ruth's home when Anna was visiting. I enjoyed her jovial personality and upbeat take on life in general.  She will be sorely missed.
