ESTHER
OPAL BRETON of
Moose Jaw
, passed away
Monday, August 1, 2005
at the age of 90 years. Esther
was born
August 24, 1914
at
Lake Alma
,
Saskatchewan
. Predeceased by her
husband, James and five daughters, her parents and two brothers,
Floyd and Clyd Lamoureux; two sisters: Letha Tangedal and Mabel
Morrison, and a sister-in-law, Rose Breton. Esther is survived by
three daughters and three sons: Mavis Zy ba of Moose Jaw, Lois
Mitchell (Terry), Shirley (Richard) Baum, Floyd and Dave Breton,
Jack (Elaine) Breton – all of Moose Jaw; fourteen grandchildren
and twenty great-grandchildren; one sister, Beatrice Mitchell of
Bengough, one sister-in-law, Laura Smith of Calgary, as well as
many nieces and nephews. After
her retirement, Esther enjoyed seven years with the Zion United
Church Brittian Unit. She
also was a member of Cosmo Centre for a short while.
Esther enjoyed playing shuffle board, darts, dancing and
looked forward to attending tea’s and dinner’s. Most of all
Esther enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and friends.
The Funeral Service
will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on
Friday, August 5, 2005
at
4:00 p.m.
Cremation will follow
and private family interment will take place at the
Rosedale
Cemetery
. Visitation
for family and friends will take place Thursday evening
7-9 p.m.
at the Funeral Home.
