ALICE BRADFORD

Mrs. Alice Bradford passed away peacefully at Chateau St.Michael Care Home on Wednesday March 30, 2005 at the age of 94 years. Alice was born January 11, 1911 to Albert and Alice Voisey on the family farm at Bridgeford, Sask. It was there that she grew up before going to Normal School and becoming a teacher.  It was while teaching that she met her future husband, Fred Bradford.  They were married on November 10, 1935. Alice had a deep love for her Savior, her family and nature. She is predeceased by her parents; brother, Albert; sisters, Anne McNairn, Violet Neal, and Margaret Reid; father and mother-in-law, Bowyer and May Bradford; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; two nephews and two nieces.  Alice leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband of 69 years, Fred;  sons:  Mel (Ferne), Doug (Karen), Lyle (Louise), and Cecil (Nancy); grandchildren:  Denise (Lonnie) Smith, Kelvin (Lori) Bradford, Lynne (Jim) Kosma, Colin Bradford, Wendy Bradford (Darren Mitchell), Wayne (Heather) Bradford, Mark (Danneilia) Bradford, Neil Bradford, Andrew Bradford, Kara Lee (Stacy) Lund, and Kara Lee’s mother, Kathy Bradford; sixteen great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred Colwell; brother, Jim (Mona) Voisey; sister, Marion (Egon) Neilson; sisters-in-law, Torchy Voisey, Esther Bradford  and Thelma (Harold) Dunn; brother-in-law, Bud (Irene) Bradford;  many nieces and nephews; and many friends.  The Funeral Service will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Saturday April 2, 2005 at 1:00 pm.  Lloyd Kneesch and Anne Malcolm will officiate.  Interment will follow at the Central Butte Cemetery at 5:00 pm. In living memory of Alice, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
