HANK FRIESEN

HENRY “HANK” FRIESEN of Moose Jaw, passed away March 4, 2004, at the age of 69 years. Hank was born February 17, 1935 in McMahn, Saskatchewan. He was a saddle maker for forty years. Hank enjoyed fishing, camping and making leather stamping tools, and he especially loved his dog, Furbie. Hank also loved working on his son-in-law, Frank’s farm.  Predeceased by his parents, Sarah and George Friesen and a brother-in-law, Doug English, Hank is survived by his loving wife, Nichole; two sons: Rob (Kelly) and Brad (Wendy), and daughter, Jodi Friesen; step-daughters: Jeanne (Frank) Schinold, Cindy (Mark) Campbell; Michelle (Curtis) Englesman and Dawn (Peter) Thrun; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; brothers and sister: Cathy English, Edward (Lorna) Friesen, Jack (Dallas) Friesen and Dale Friesen, as well as several nieces, nephews and friends.  Following cremation, a graveside service of remembrance will take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery. Della Ferguson will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St.W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2. In living memory of Hank, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
