RAGNA COMSTOCK

RAGNA COMSTOCK (nee Swensen) of Moose Jaw passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2004. Born in North Dakota, Ragna married Morton Comstock on December 30, 1931 and the couple settled in Mitchellton, Saskatchewan where they operated the Imperial Oil Dealership.  In 1945 they sold the business and moved to Moose Jaw. Ragna was a life member of the Rebekah’s and the U.C.T. Predeceased by her parents, husband Morton in 1991, two brothers and two sisters. Ragna is survived and lovingly remembered by her daughter, Christine Nagy (Bob); granddaughters: Carolyn Griffin (Gil), Melanie Blackwell (Cal); great-grandchildren: Christopher, Trista, Tyler, Chase and Burke – all of Moose Jaw, a brother, Arnold (Prue) Swensen of Regina and two sisters: Borghild Anderson of Regina and Helma Qually of Winnipeg as well as nephews and one niece. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2004 at 1:30 p.m. at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw. Reverend Doug Shepherd will officiate. Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ina Grafton Gage Home or to Providence Place. In living memory of Ragna, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
