WILLIAM COLE

December 3, 1915 – December 12, 2004

William Cole, age 89, of Moose Jaw, passed away on December 12, 2004. He is predeceased by his wife, Ann; parents William and Annie; sisters, Ethel, Hilda, Doris, and Gertrude.  Bill is survived by daughter, Barb (Randy), grandchildren Robin, Trevor, Tracy; great-grandsons, Travis and Nicholas; brothers, Albert and Frank; sisters, Mae and Laura; and several nieces and nephews.  Bill served during WWII (ranked Private), and farmed in the Parkbeg district.  He married Ann Oatman in 1963 and they retired to Moose Jaw in 1975. Bill enjoyed gardening and his little dogs. He moved to a private care home in 1999 and later to Extendicare.  Special thanks to the staff at Extendicare for the wonderful care received.  Funeral Services will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday December 16, 2004 at 11:00 am. Reverend Frank Mitchell will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Cemetery.  Memorials to the Extendicare Family Support Group, 1151 Coteau St. W., S6H 5G5, would be appreciated.  In living memory of Bill, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home.
