BOB BELISLE

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bob Belisle on January 7, 2004. Bob leaves to mourn his loving wife and best friend of 22 years, Beth, sons Eric and Paul, mother and father, Ray and Kay Belisle of Moose Jaw; sisters Sharon (Greg) Montgomery, Clarice (Jeff) Montgomery, Doreen (Greg) Dessert, all of Moose Jaw, Lorie (Tony) Obuck of Regina; brothers, Dennis (Marion) of Saskatoon, Rod of Moose Jaw, and Terry (Kim) of Lacombe, AB.  An extended family of many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins as well as many special friends who were all a very important part of his life. Bob was born in Moose Jaw on June 14, 1957 and lived here his whole life.  He attended Peacock Collegiate, and his passions in high school were playing football, the Friday Afternoon Club, track and keeping physically fit. Bob worked in the construction industry as a Journeyman Carpenter for over 20 years and in 1995 he returned to school and became a 3rd Class Power Engineer, and was continuing his studies to obtain his 2nd Class. He was employed with Cogema Resources until his passing. Bob had a very strong commitment to his community and demonstrated this by his active participation in the development of Elgin Park. Bob was a very loving, devoted husband, father and son. He had many hobbies and interests that included year round fishing, boating, skidoos, carpentry, gardening, and cooking. Bob will be sadly missed by all who loved him. A Celebration of Bob’s life will be held at the Alliance Church, (Corner of 9th and Thatcher Drive), on Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at 1:30 pm. Della Ferguson will officiate. Memorials to the North West Community Association, c/o City Hall, 228 Main St.N., Moose Jaw, S6H 3J8, or a trust fund for Bob's boys, c/o 24 Fairford St.W., S6H 1V1, would be appreciated.  In living memory of Bob, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
