BERYL BASTEDO

MRS. BERYL BASTEDO of Extendicare, Moose Jaw passed away on Monday, February 23, 2004, at the age of 87 years. Predeceased by her parents, Ruebin and Isabella Rogers, her husband Joseph and two sisters: Ruby Crane and Anna Rogers, Beryl is survived by her children: Elaine (Helen) King, Cheryl (Jim) Boyle, Mary-Gaye (Jim) Pinches and Roger (Marie) Bastedo; grandchildren: Dorian and Heather–Marie Burt, Michaelia (Jason) Olfert, Brendan (Renny) Pinches, Ariane Pinches, Ryan, Tyler and Christopher Bastedo, one sister, Claribel Hudson, sister-in-law, Ada Knight, brothers-in-law: John (Isabel) Knoblauch and Harold Knight as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and all the others who knew her as “Auntie Beryl”.  Following cremation, A Celebration of Beryl’s Life will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2004 at 3:30 pm in the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, Moose Jaw. Reverend Canon David Holmes will officiate. Private memorialization will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658, Moose Jaw, S6H 7K7. In living memory of Beryl, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
