It
is with great sadness and shock we announce the passing of our
dear dad, grandpa Pete, brother and uncle. Peter was born on October 12, 1933
in Arnaud, Manitoba
and sadly, suddenly passed away in Regina General

including the Korean Conflict. Pete returned to employment at
C.F.B. Moose Jaw for another sixteen years as a civilian equipment
operator. Peter
and his wife, Millie travelled around the world to many places
including Germany, France
and Wales.
He
enjoyed telling his grandchildren about his job chasing snowflakes
as he kept the runway open for the planes.
After retirement from the service, he enjoyed many long
hours or days as she traveled places on his motorcycle.
He was an active member of the Moose Jaw Royal Canadian
Legion Branch #59 for twenty-nine years, Fraternal Order of
Eagles, the Moose Jaw Cycle Association and took great pride each
year in participating in the toy run with one of his grandchildren
behind him and his son Mike and daughter beside him. Predeceased
by his wife, Mildred (Millie) of 33 adventures years, his parents:
mother Anna, father Peter, brother Dave, sister Ann, sister Rene
and brother Abe. Peter
is survived by his dearest sister Mary Hooper, his only son
Michael “Mike” (Marlene), his favorite ‘apple of his eye’-
grandchildren: Annie and Amanda; two dear friends, Marie and
Norma, as well as several nieces, nephews and many other people
and friends Peter knew. The
funeral service will be held on Monday,
January 12, 2004
at 2:00

Church, Gladstone, Manitoba. Royal
Canadian Legion Funeral Rites will be conducted by the Gladstone
Branch. Interment will follow in the family plot, Gladstone
Cemetery. A
Memorial Gathering for Peter will take place at the Fraternal
Order of Eagles Club, 561
Home Street West, Moose Jaw, on Wednesday January 14, 2004

Valley
