JEAN BARNETT

Mrs. Jean Barnett of Moose Jaw, passed away on Friday February 27, 2004 at the age of 76 years. Jean was born on April 29, 1927 in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to William and Mabel Francis. She was raised in the Davie district north east of Moose Jaw. Jean is survived by her husband of 55 years, Leo Barnett; Her five children: Larry (Dale) – (Tarrel & Tarrie) - Abbottsford, B.C.; Barry  (Marlene) – (Russell (Jennifer), Bobbi-Jo & Kelly-Rae) - Moose Jaw; Blair (Teddi & Dustin) – Moose Jaw; Debra (Cam) Myers -(Jerri-Lynn (Sean), Melissa, Kyle & Brady) - Moose Jaw; Bonnie (Tim) Weinbender - (Ashlynn, Clark & Madison) - Morse, Sk.; great-grandchildren- Colbey, Bradley, Austin, Baillie, Spencer, Taylor & Justyn.  Also survived by her brothers: Gordon (Vivian) Francis – Moose Jaw; Harold (Pat) Francis – Garden City, Minnesota; Don (Mary) Francis – Moose Jaw and her sisters: Betty (Art) Maunder – Eyebrow, Sk. and Doreen MacLauchlan – Esbank, Sk.; as well as many numerous other family members and friends. The Funeral Service will be held at the W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Thursday March 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Della Ferguson will officiate.  Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends Wednesday evening from 7- 9 at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Moose Jaw Union Hospital Foundation – 455 Fairford St.E. Moose Jaw, Sk. S6H 1H3.  In living memory of Jean Barnett, a tree will be planted n Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
