Robert
Edwin Ball
of Valjean, passed away March 16,
2004
at the age
of 91 years. Bob was
born
August 15,
1912
in Wellbank, Saskatchewan, living
most of his life in Valjean. He
is predeceased by his parents, William and Edith;
his first wife, Ruby; brothers, Sid, Bert, and Dave;
sister, May Gestrin; grandson, Chris Sharp;
brothers-in-law, Andy Gestrin, Bill Mackie; and
sister-in-law, Gladys Ball. He
is survived by his wife, Annie; son, Dennis (Geri) Ball and their children, Merridy
(Darren) Most, Jason (Trina) Ball, and Les Ball;
daughter, Joyce (Glen) Linton and their children, Scott
Linton (Maureen Hillaby), Denise (Gerald) Perry, and Jackie
Linton; step-daughter,
Bev (David) Sharp of Castlegar, BC; and their children, Seanan
(Sarah) Sharp, Nayana (Patrick) Lacasse, Ian (Nathania) Sharp,
Kalindi (Sam) Coleman, and Joella Sharp;
seven great-grandchildren;
brother, Jim (Ruth) Ball; sisters, Joan (Bill) Morgan and
Dorothy Mackie; and sister-in-law, Ann Ball.
Bob was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Chaplin Lions
Club. He was a
farmer/rancher and was well known in the community for his farm
machinery dealership and his honest, dedicated service to his many
customers. Funeral
Services will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel
on Friday March 19, 2004
at 1:30 pm. Sandra
Sellars will officiate. Masonic Rites will be conducted by the
Doric/St.George Lodge, Moose Jaw.
Interment
will follow at Sunset
Cemetery. Memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society, 61B Ross St.W., Moose Jaw, S6H 2M2, the
Alzheimer Association, #301, 2550
12th Ave.,
Regina, S4P 3X1, or to a
charity of choice would be appreciated.
