RANDY GALLANT

RANDY DEAN GALLANT of Moose Jaw, passed away suddenly Tuesday, January 28, 2003 at the age of 36 years. Born January 3, 1967 at Kitimat, B.C., he moved to Moose Jaw with his family in 1974.  Randy attended Ross Public School, William Grayson, Empire and then Riverview High School. He worked at the Town & Country Mall for a short time before taking employment with C.P. Railway as a Brakeman. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Thelma Smith, grandfather, Alfred Baker, grandmother, Alice Clayton and Grandpa Gallant.  Randy is survived by his mother, Shirley Gallant (Dwaine) Neustaeter of Saskatoon, his father, Jim of Vancouver, B.C., sister, Jody (Cory) Churko of Los Angeles, “the light of his life”, Ariel Gallant of Moose Jaw and Grandpa Mel Smith.  Following cremation, A Celebration of Randy’s Life will be held at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106 Athabasca St. E., Moose Jaw on Monday, February 3, 2003 at 4:00 pm.  Linda Owens will officiate.  Family memorialization will take place at a later date. Memorials for the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, 455 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, Sask., S6H 1H3 would be appreciated.  In living memory of Randy, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Pat and  Ron  Gallant - Duncan, B.C.: We really did not get to know our nephew Randy as an adult since we moved out to Vancouver Island in 1986.  However, we do remember Randy as a young teenager, quite outgoing and never at loss for words.  We  are so  sorry that his life  ended so suddenly and offer our love and sympathy.

Lisa Gallant King - Crofton, BC: Randy, I will always remember with great affection and fondness the many years we played together as children.  I have many vivid memories of you, me and Jody playing at your grandmother's home in Moose Jaw.  I remember you loved teasing me and how you loved pranks.  I am sorry I didn't have a chance to tell you this and to tell you how much you were valued in my life.  You will be sorely missed.  I hope you find the peace you need to be at rest.  God Bless You Randy.  Your cousin, Lisa.
