On
Sunday, October 26, in her 87th year,
HELEN (BERTHA) DOMBOWSKY (nee Englot) passed away at
Extendicare with family at her side. She was born on
August 7th, 1916
at Lemberg,
Saskatchewan. Bertha
was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Joseph Dombowsky in
1985, an infant granddaughter Leanne, daughter-in-law Christa,
three brothers and five sisters.
She will be greatly missed by her sons: Sydney
(Dolores) of Regina and John of Trenton, Ontario; daughters: Diane
(Donald) Beingessner of Regina and Madeline (Arthur) Landry of
Moose Jaw; former daughter-in-law Carmen Stevens; twelve
grandchildren and twenty-eight great-grandchildren; sisters:
Caroline De Kelver of Mississauga, Stefania Mounsey of Kamloops,
Kathleen Vignal and Joyce (Steve) Ursulan – both of Kelowna;
along with numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of
Bertha’s Life will be held on Thursday,
October 30, 2003
at 11:00 a.m.
at the Church
of Our Lady,

Jaw. The Mass Celebrants will be Father Gerry Bauche assisted by
Parish Minister, Stephanie Molloy.
A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m.
at the
W. J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel, 106
Athabasca St. E., Moose
Jaw. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to commemorate Bertha’s
life in a special way may make a contribution to the Saskatchewan
Lung Association, 1231–8th St. E.

in her name.
In living memory of Bertha, a tree will be planted in Wakamow
Valley
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
