ROSE
DICKSON, of
Moose Jaw, passed away Thursday, June 26,
2003, at the Avonlea
Villa, Avonlea, Saskatchewan. Rose was born January 18, 1909
in Durham, England. She immigrated to
Canada
as a young girl with
her parents. She was predeceased by her husband, Jim, sister, Lily
Morgan and brother, Jack Clifford.
Rose is survived by nieces: Margaret Rose Patrick (Dave) of
Stonewall, Mary Lou Didkowski (Stan) of Winnipeg and Linda
Clifford Dashney (Ralph) of Ottawa, sister-in-law, Bernice
Clifford of Wilkie, Sask.; nephews, Mike and Brad; her late
husband’s two nieces and nephews and close friend, Miriam
Turnball. Rose was a member of the St. Mark’s Presbyterian
Church. She enjoyed
lawn bowling for many years and traveling – spending many
winters in Yuma, Arizona
with Bea and Linda. She was an avid baseball fan - she and Jim enjoyed
attending pro baseball games in Chicago
and Milwaukee, to name a few.
In later years she became an avid fan of
Moose Jaw
ball teams. Following Rose’ request, cremation has taken place. The Memorial Service
will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2003
at 2:00 p.m.

Reverend Frank Mitchell will officiate. Memorialization will take place at a later date in Wilkie,
Saskatchewan. Special

Rose, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
