I wish I could have said good-bye

And in my heart I did.

God saw me getting tired

A cure was not to be….

So He wrapped me in his loving arms

And whispered “Come to Me”

I suffered much in silence

My spirit did not bend.

I faced each day with courage

Until the very end.

I tried so hard to stay with you

My fight was all in vain.

God took me to his loving home,

And freed me from my pain.”
