MURIEL BRENNAN

MURIEL BRENNAN of Moose Jaw, Riverhurst and formerly of Regina, passed away May 5, 2003 at the age of 65 years. Born July 10, 1937 in Maple Creek to Matthew and Naudia Armstrong, Muriel married Roy Brennan November 23, 1957 in Regina. In 1987 Muriel and Roy retired to Riverhurst Palliser Park where she became very involved in the community.  Predeceased by her parents and one brother, Jim, Muriel is survived by her husband, Roy, son, Kelly (Denise) of Regina; grandsons: Stewart and Brody, granddaughter, Lynette, one brother, David (Jeanie) Armstrong of Langley, B.C. and their children Penny (Jim) Crieghton and family and Bruce (Gwen) Armstrong and family; brothers and sisters-in-law: Vern (Joan) Brown and family, Bernie (Georgina) Brennan and family. A Service of Remembrance will be held Friday, May 9, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Moose Jaw.  Father Gerry Bauche will officiate. Memorialization will take place at a later date. Memorials to Pioneer Lodge Palliative Care, 1000 Albert Street, Moose Jaw, S6H 2Y2 would be appreciated. In living memory of Muriel, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Pauline Benko:  When I met Muriel at Notre Dame I met a true friend.  She loved life and always shared this with everyone.  Her music and laughter will be loving memories.  Sorry we couldn't get together during this difficult time.  My deepest sympathy. God Bless!

Naomi Kral  - Regina, SK:  Dear Roy, Kelly, Denise and grandchildren: I was sorry to read about Muriel's passing in the Leader Post. Muriel and I worked together at O'Neill in the library. She had a great sense of humour and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was very proud of her only son Kelly. Muriel was a wonderful grandmother who cherished visits from her grandchildren.
