KENNETH BOAN

KENNETH WAYNE BOAN of Moose Jaw, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2003 at the age of 53 years. Ken was born September 3, 1950 in Moose Jaw to Stan and Lois.  He grew up in the Camalachie District, south of Moose Jaw. He was active with the Lions Club of Briercrest and participated actively in many socials and comical skits of the Quincy Community.  Ken was also an active member of the Army, Navy and Airforce Veterans Club.  Predeceased by his father, Stan in 1970, Ken leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Lois, sister, Dorothy (Cecil) of Plattsville, ON., brother, Garry (Sheryl) of Calgary; sons: Michael and Nathan (Toni) of Calgary, companion, Debbie Croisetiere (sons: Shaun and Curtis) of Moose Jaw; nieces: Sherry (Darren), Corinna and Denise; great-nieces: Jessica, Rachel and Amy, and his great-nephew, Hans. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. in the St.Andrew’s United Church, 60 Athabasca St.W., Moose Jaw. Sally Gladstone will officiate.  Private family memorialization will take place at a later date. Those wishing may make a donation in Ken’s memory to the Diabetes Association, P.O.Box 1061, Moose Jaw, Sask., S6H 4P2. In living memory of Ken, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
