ROBERT (BOB) BINETRUY

ROBERT (BOB) EMILE BINETRUY, passed way on September 30, 2003. Born in Radville, Saskatchewan May 4, 1949, Bob attended school at St. Olivers in Radville and also Radville Regional High, and later at Kelsey - Saskatoon where he learned the machinist trade. He bought Western Machine & Welding in Melfort in 1976, and later that year moved the business to Moose Jaw. In 1989 he became semi-retired but still very active at his new business, Portable Mechanical. He was an avid trap shooter and followed the Arizona trap shooting chain for three months of the year and followed the shoots in the northern states and western Canada. He also enjoyed his golf. Bob was married on January 11, 1969, in Radville, Saskatchewan to Sharon Hunstad and lived the majority of their married life in Moose Jaw. He was predeceased by his parents, Justin and Angeline Binetruy, of Radville, Saskatchewan, and infant grandson, Joshua Craig. He leaves his wife, Sharon, and son, Joe, of Moose Jaw, daughter Faye and son-in-law Stephen Craig of Lethbridge, Alberta, and granddaughters, Maritza and Hayleigh Craig, brother, Emile (Frances), of Taber, Alberta, sister, Blanche (Jim) Klovansky, of Davidson, Saskatchewan; brothers-in-law: Wayne Hunstad of Weyburn, Saskatchewan and Gordon Hunstad (Rita) of Calgary, Alberta, sisters-in-law: Shirley Wallin of Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Dolores (Ron) Toso, of Okotoks, Alberta and Linda (Terry) Lahure, of Calgary, Alberta, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.  The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, 1064 – 3rd. Ave. N.W., Moose Jaw.  Reverend Father Gerry Bauche will preside. An Evening Prayer Service will be held Friday, October 3, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home, Moose Jaw. Memorials for the Saskatchewan Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 521, Moose Jaw, S6H 4P2 or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 150 Albert Street, Regina, S4R 2N2 would be gratefully appreciated. In living memory of Bob, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
