MRS.
JULIEN (JULIE) ELMIRA
AVERILL
(nee Bjolverud) of Chez Nous, Moose Jaw, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 10, 2003. Born
December 28, 1909
in Ryder, North Dakota, Julie came to
Canada
with her parents and two surviving siblings
when she was four. For
many years she was a proud member of the Royal Purple Lodge #9 of Moose Jaw. Predeceased
by her husband, Leonard (Casie) Averill in January, 1990. Julie is survived by her devoted sister, Elsie Sandham,
sister-in-law, Elda Bjolverud and is loved and remembered by her
many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Funeral Service
will be held at the W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Chapel on
Thursday, March 13, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. Reverend Doug Shepherd
will officiate. Interment
will take place at Bethany
Cemetery
at a later date. Donations in Julie’s memory to the Canadian Cancer
Society, 223 Fairford St. E., Moose Jaw, S6H 0E1or to the
Saskatchewan Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 521, Moose Jaw,
S6H 4P2 would be appreciated.
The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Chez Nous and the
excellent medical care given to Julie by Dr. Brian Sanderson.
In living memory of Julie, a tree will be planted in Wakamow
Valley
by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.
