ROBERT "SCOTTY" ANGUS

Robert (Scotty) Angus, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2003 at the age of 82 years.  Scotty was born in Scotland on June 2, 1920 and immigrated to Canada in 1927. He was raised on a farm two miles north of Kincaid. In 1943, Scotty married Helene Douville of Ponteix.  In 1952 they purchased the Case Agency on Main Street in Kincaid, known as “Scotty’s Service”.  In 1959, Scotty and Helene moved to Hazenmore and established a new business, Scotty’s Esso Service and Helene’s Café.  In 1972, they moved to Moose Jaw to enjoy their retirement years. Scotty is predeceased by brothers and sisters:  Margaret, Ed, Charlie, Jean, Alex, John, and Chrissie.  He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 59 years, Helene; two sons: Ron (Diana) of Regina; Bob (Noella) of Lethbridge;  four grandchildren: Colin, Chad, Cheldon, and Cami;  and two great-grandsons, Brayden and Blake. Funeral Services will be held at W.J.Jones & Son Chapel on Tuesday April 8, 2003 at 1:30 pm.  Della Ferguson will officiate.   Interment will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends Monday evening 7 – 8:30 pm at the Funeral Home.  Memorials to the Sask. Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 521, Moose Jaw, S6H 4P2, would be appreciated. In living memory of Scotty, a tree will be planted in Wakamow Valley by W.J.Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Linda  Andru and Katrina Ing - Moose Jaw, Sask.: Our family sends all of yours, our sympathy.  The picture you have of Uncle is beautiful, that is exactly how I will remember him.  I will remember him playing cards, even up till the times when he had a tough time playing.  His laugh will be always in my memory.  I am very thankful that I got to visit with Uncle and Aunty not too long ago...visits that we should've done more often.  He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.  We loved him dearly.  Love and hugs to all of your family.
